Ok, I am a tv-watching professional and I haven't picked up on these two yet.
Downton Abbey is a given, but Scandal? For those of you that are watching, is it worth catching up now? What's the premise? And how far into the season are they?
I see a bunch of eps on demand, so I figured I could try to catch up now.

Scandal is so freaking good. It's focused on Olivia Pope (Kerri Washington) who is a "fixer" in Washington. Clients come to her with potential scandals that they need her to control. Before starting her firm, she worked in the White House, after managing the President's campaign. And she and the President are in love.
I think to really appreciate it, you should start at the beginning.
