First off....HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to the 21st couples out there! I can't believe it's been a year already. Time sure does fly = ) And HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to everyone for that matter!
So what's happening today? Anyone celebrating their anniversary or doing something special? T and I celebrated yesterday since he has to work today. We just went out to eat at one of our favorite, but more expensive restaurants, Logan's Roadhouse. Then we came home, drank some hot chocolate and watched a couple new movies we rented via Amazon Instant Video. It was really nice and low key. With me working so much and working such crazy hours, I didn't really want to do anything super fancy anyways.
Today though, I plan on doing some low key cleaning...folding some clothes, vacuuming and cleaning our bathtub. Maybe if I get ambitious I'll clean the whole bathroom! It snowed bad yesterday and it still snowing today. There's at least six inches on the ground and the roads are icy. I was going to run some errands, but nope! Staying in, safe and cleaning sounds better.
Well sorry for this longish post haha. Everyone have a great day!

Re: What's Happening Today?
It's early evening here. I was running errands all morning then had a doctors appointment. Followed by lunch and a nice long nap on the couch. I had the day off since its MLK Day and I work for a school. Just now getting caught up on all the posts today.
I need to do some laundry and probably start thinking about dinner.
Happy Anniversary!
Ugh, just walked around Seattle for 5 hours apartment hunting. Definitely not used to the constant 37 degrees high and fog here. I'm still thawing out. Found some nice places. For a one bedroom, the price range seems to be starting around 1350 really low end, going on up. We have one more full day of apartment hunting tomorrow. With Jared up here alone next year, I'm jealous of all the nice places we're seeing! But it seems like I'll get my one bedroom to myself down in California. It'll all work out, and it'll be fun. I keep imaging how it'll be up here with kids. All the apartments we looked at gave me the feeling it would only be temporary, for a year or two, until we have kids. But one place was absolutely amazing: indoor heated pool, gym, granite counter tops, etc. I could imagine being in that complex for a few years. I'll have to post pictures.
That's all we did today. 30 minutes later, and I'm still freezing, here in our hotel room haha. Heater is on high though
Hope everyone had an amazing anniversary so far!

Dh worked all day and I did NOTHING expect for watch tv and waste time on the computer. However, I didn't really have anything to do.
Dh came home from work at 6. He bought me roses and a really beautiful card. We went to dinner at the winery where we had our reception and had a nice dinner. (Heartburn/acid reflux bothered me the entire time though). As we were eating dinner it started snowing. It was great. It snowed a year ago too! When we got home Dh put on the song that was our first dance and danced with me in our living room. It was sweet.
Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.

Absolutely. It was actually said during our wedding ceremony by my pastor, that it is supposed to be light on every anniversary to remember the commitment. It is apparently a Lutheran tradition.
