I'm thinking about asking for one for my birthday to simplify my mornings and save me a few dishes in the evening. I'm familiar with the big one that we have at the yarn store, but I don't know what model to buy for home. There are so many...
Suggestions?

Re: Keurig users
We have the platinum, I think. They look like they've changed the models a little bit so I'm not sure if they have new, different features. It's whatever was the highest model, not sure why I thought we needed it. The main differences that I can recall between models is how much water the reservoir holds and if you can brew different size cups and mess with the temp. Ours has a big reservoir, which I thought if we had some people over I could get a cup of coffee for everyone without having to stop to fill it up with more water. We can change the temp, but I never do. If I brew something cold I might, but it isn't exactly a cold temp its just cooler than 180*. Ours has 4 or 5. Brew sizes but I always brew on the travel mug size no matter what.
I'm the only one that uses it and we don't have people over (especially now that we live a state away) to need to brew more than one cup a day, so we could easily have a lower model and be perfectly fine. It depends on what kind of use you're going to put it through.
GL!
Our first was a Keurig Signature that we got at Sam's Club as it came with a 36 pack of k-cups. Last year we bought an OfficePro one (it was a deal through Staples) and it's very similar (it's a commercial grade, though, and most of the documents said it was not meant for home use. We've used it just fine - it is a bit noisier, but that's it).
Just a word of caution with the OfficePro, you cannot use the My K-Cup reusable filter with it. Just in case you wanted that option.
Yep - that's true. We never really used the my Kcup all that much, so it wasn't an issue for us.
We have the Platinum at work. DH doesn't want to go away from a regular pot, so we don't have one at home yet, BUT... I'd definitely get the Platinum for home use. We've had it for over a year in the office, it gets used many times each day and it's still kicking. It's not commercial-grade, so that's impressive to me.
We thought our coffee pot was dying last week, though, so I did start researching them a bit. Read some reviews on the Vue before considering it. It just seemed to me that some of the bugs aren't worked out yet.
