I've been out with the flu, and today's my first day back. And it's a Friday. I'm just trying to get through the next 3 hours, at which point I can go home and put on my sweats...Reunitied and it feels so good....
I guess I'm the last person to finally start watching American Horror Story, but I'm officially hooked. We watched the first episode of Season 1 on Netflix last week, and plan on watching the finale tonight. I'm sad it's over. I'm even sadder that I have no idea when the current season will make it to Netflix.
And Gossip Girl. I never had any interest in it, but for whatever reason, watched the first episode on Netflix back in December. I only watch it when I'm cleaning or getting ready, and I'm just about Season 2. I feel like a highschool geek, but yes, I'm obsessed with Gossip Girl.
Is there anything else that is missing from my life??
Re: Recent Finds, Etc.
not a recent find for me...but I finally reuniting with Dexter Morgan. I've had season 6 in my Netflix queue for months and I finally returned another movie this week. So I should be getting disc 1 soon!
I don't watch much else that is current aside from Top Chef and Modern Family - both on DVR. I gave up on Greys a while ago but still keep recording it for some reason.
DH and I have had a REALLY hard time finding a new LOST-type of show. We were both equally addicted to it and haven't found a good replacement since it ended. It makes me very sad. I think I want to watch the first 2 seasons again. I miss Sun and Jin.

We are in the same boat! We actually started re-watching it again this winter, but that only lasted for a couple of episodes. American Horror Story: Murder House is the first show that has come close. Each episode leaves me with more questions, conspiracy theories, etc. I can't wait to wrap up this season so I can jump online and check out some message boards - I've been afraid to do it in case I come across a spoiler.
Another show my husband & I really enjoyed was Six Feet Under. It was hands down my favorite show ever. Well, maybe not ever...Full House will always hold a special place in my little heart.
Thanks! I'll have to look out for them - maybe the library will have them. I like an easy, cheesy book to blank out with sometimes.
I really liked American Horror Story during the first season, but gave up about 3 episodes into the second season. Just wasn't into it.
Scandal is my absolute favorite right now. And I would probably start batting for the other team for Kerri Washington.
Ditto Jen. Once Upon a Time is my jam.
Yup, I'm back in 1997. Jam.
I have about 6 episodes of Gossip Girl sitting in my dvr to be watched. It's the last season. I guess monday I'll be watching them.
I saw on Showtime, Dexter will be back for another season, I want to say June 30th. I know for sure June though.
The Carrie Diaries started last week. Also another show called Deception on NBC, seemed decent.
Love love love Scandle.
And another love is Shamless!!!
I've reunited with old eps of Grey's Anatomy courtesy of a 5 week school break, Netflix, and my IPad.
I'm considering watching the West Wing again too.
West Wing is available on Amazon Instant Video too and I was thinking the same thing. LOVED that show.
I really need to check out SOA. I see so many posts on FB, from completely different crowds of people. I have Amazon Prime, so I'll make a point of watching the first episode this week.
And has anyone watched The Carrie Diaries? I've read the books already, but caught the pilot episode on demand. I think the 2nd episode is on tonight. It's such a cute show. There were certain scenes that were straight out of SATC. I'm looking forward to DVRing it for when I'm cleaning.
Love me some SOA. I too was seeing all kinds of comments on FB, so DH and I watched all 4 seasons within a matter of weeks. Thought we were caught up to start watching S5 on FX, but here we missed a couple of episodes. So we'll have to wait to S5 on DVD.
I posted above about the Carrie Diaries. I missed last night, and I don't think I set my dvd to record the series.
Sunday, while staying with my mom, she introduced me to Downton Abbey. I am in love. I need to see all the episodes now.
