Re: Well....
Wow, that is great news! How far along were you last time? Did you doctor give you and kind of explaination as to why you mc'ed last time?
I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
Though I have never experienced anything like that I can honestly say I understand that. I think I would feel the same way. Like there were the beginnings of what would have been a baby, but there never was one in the first place. If that makes sense. Its scary how often things like that happen. But usually when you get PG so quickly again after a mc like that the chances of it happening again are really low, especially after you have already had a sucessful pregnancy. Thats what I have read anyway.
Would your doctor want to see you again earlier than the normal first time appointment because if the mc?
Yea, thankfully one m/c doesnt signify that you will have another one. I havent even called my doctor nor do I intend to for another week or two. Since its so early they likely wouldnt be able to see anything anyway so I'm going to wait a week or two until the fetus grows a bit so at least I can see more. Since I have to bring Annabelle with me to the appointments and the exams are internal its a bit of a pita. They would make me come back in 2 weeks anyway. Last time though the doctor did not imply that I will require extra monitoring though. If I was to m/c again there would be nothing that could be done in the early stages anyway.
Congratulations! When are you due?
I read this while waiting for my third HCG draw today....wanted to make sure my numbers were trending better than last time before I said anything. I am also feeling very cautious, but positive about this one. Looking forward to sharing this exciting time with you
.
I'm not exactly sure because I never had a period after my m/c. I believe they will have to do an ultrasound to determine how far along I am. Wait, did you get a bfp too? If so I must have missed this!!
This is so exciting!
Congrats to both of you!
I got one on Monday, but I hadn't said anything yet...they are checking my levels every 48 hours to make sure they are doubling because of my ectopic in August.
