I just want to make it known, that I hate when it is this cold outside. I would rather have 30 degree temps and 3 feet of snow, than no snow and below zero windchills.

If I were a bus taker I'm pretty sure I would have called off today. Even after letting my car heat up, it was still freezing.
ETA: I've also realized I've turned into a wimp. I grew up north of here where it was routinely below zero and I don't recall ever really noticing the cold. Now I try to avoid it at all costs.
I agree!! My eyeballs hurt this morning, and my face was freezing, even with my scarf wrapped up the whole way to my eyes.

I can't take the cold, it makes me just want to cry if I am outside for more than 60 seconds. I am a huge baby when it comes to cold, and start getting dramatic about anything under 60. Fortunately, DH and I are thermostat soul mates and like to keep the house as warm as possible.
Our trip to Florida cannot come soon enough!!!
Well it's that cold where I live AND we are getting snow!! Lake effect warning for my area until tomorrow. Weather.com says 6-12 inches today, 6-12 tonight and 1-2 tomorrow.
So definitely be happy it's just cold in Pittsburgh! I'm jealous! Haha! I'm hoping we are not in a bad band of the lake effect. We generally aren't buy still we will likely be getting a decent amount. Just makes me more ready for our vacation next week...assuming we don't get snowed in next week!

As much as I froze my butt off walking to work-I will take the cold over snow!
i would take the snow over the bitter cold but I don't want both for sure!!!!
its looking like only places closest to the lake will get a large amount so I don't think I am getting much but really don't want anything with this cold
