Baby Oil and Kindles dont mix
I killed my kindle on Sunday. DH was having back spasms so I offered to give him a massage. Evidentally I didnt put the lid on the baby oil on tight enough and I think when the dog jumped off the bed during the night it must have gotten knocked over.
It would have been fine except there is a Silicon case around it that held the oil in so it soaked into the speaker and charger holes.
I am beyond upset. I sat here and cried. Mostly because I have always been so careful wirh electronics, but also because DH got it for me as a christmas gift last year.
Thankfully he also got me an Amazon gift card to buy books, so at least I have a starting point to buying a new one. They arent super expensive but I cant justify a $200 purchase on myself right before vacation. What makes it even worse is that it was arbonne baby oil that is not cheap either.

Do kindles have a 2 year warrenty? Where did he get it at? I know I usually get the extra warrenty when it's something I could break, because I usually do.
He got it directly from Amazon. He usually picks up the insurence on anything over $500, so he didnt get it on my kindle.
