Puerto Rico

I am looking for an all-inclusive resort in Puerto Rico for a girls trip in March.  Our requirements are adults only, CLEAN, great pool and things to do.  Thanks!

Re: Puerto Rico

  • PR doesn't have any AIs that i know of, let alone adults only.

  • Thanks.  Can you recommend a non-AI resort?
  • I think there might be 1 but I'm not sure. Call a TA and see. I think there was one there years ago but I'm not sure if its still there.

  • Not sure how much you want to spend, but something that's on the more reasonable end, check out Condado Plaza. I'm staying at the St. Regis Bahia in April and it is currently running well over $500/night. It's supposed to be fantastic, though!

  • Copamarina Beach Resort is the closest you will come to an all inclusive in Puerto Rico.  They have a package that includes drinks with meals, but not drinks all day long.

I have no idea why that text is so large!  I am a TA and if you need more information would be glad to help you.  You can email me at myoasisvacations@yahoo.com

  • the Isla Verde area is very nice and has several nice hotels. The Water Club seems to be the one for younger people. There is also the Intercontinental which is right along the same beach as the Water club. If you want to save money, there is The Verdanza ( former Holiday Inn) one block off the beach. There are tons of restaurants at all price levels. There are busses that go into Old San Juan you can take from right in front of the hotels. I leave for PR in 10 days and cant wait!!! I am staying in a condo next to the Water Club. If you are interested in a condo, San Juan Vacations or Isla Verde Realty can help you.
  • In my opinion, not many. There aren't any all-inclusive in PR because it is an area of the US. Just like there are not any all-inclusive resorts in the US. Because it's not required. The truth is that in PR the meals & water is secure to eat so you can actually eat outside of your resort without worrying and you will discover inexpensive meals if you look.

Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.
  • Like PPs mentioned, no AIs.  We stayed at the Intercontinental when we were in PR and it worked perfectly for us.  There weren't many kids that I remember, but we weren't at the hotel very much since there's so much to do in PR.

i know those condos. they look cute. head up to the rooftop lounge at water club. water club is a great boutique hotel. i dont know what you mean by 'younger' people but i've stayed tehere a few times and will again in april and im' nearly 38. it's actually one of the nicer, trendier, yet very comfortable hotels around. and it's very small. service is outstanding. i've also stayed at the caribe hilton which wasn't as nice as the water club or as new but it was still nice.
