HS class song poll

My HS class is starting to plan their 10 year reunion (I'm not going), but on the FB page there is talk about unoffically changing our class song. It really is a sucky song since I guess it doesn't sound anything like a class song. It's Glycerin by Bush. Some of the other ones that we voted on were much better. I think there was "Time of your Life" and "I will remember you", but since previous classes used them they were vetoed.

What was your class song and did you like it?

  • I don't remember having a class song.
  • I can't remember the title of it, but I think it was by Vitamin C....Friends Forever maybe?

  • I don't think we had one...I know the class president, so I should probably ask her to see if I'm right about this. Hm.

  • I think ours was I hope you dance.

Changing it a decade later illustrates that these people must have nothing going on in their lives whatsoever. Who cares?

  • We're planning ours for this summer too - I am shooting a wedding that night so can't attend... maybe the after parties since I will be in town. :) Our class song was "Here's To The Night" by Eve 6. The only reason I know that is because my mom unearthed a box in her attic containing my yearbooks the last time I was home and I flipped through my senior book with a HS friend over wine the other night and made fun of our young selves. lol

  • No clue.  I wast a huge fan of high school or any of its details.  I think it's funny they want to change it after all this time!

  • I'm pretty sure our high school class song (for our senior year at least) was the Graduation Song by Vitamin C. It was fitting, but incredibly cliched.
  • Umm, I don't recall having a class song. But then again, like 20 people out of 650-ish actually went to the 10-year reunion (I was absolutely not one of those 20). Clearly we're a nostalgic bunch.

  • It was Journey's Don't Stop Believing.  No I did not graduate in the 80s.  As a matter of fact I always thought it was pretty dumb that we chose that but I guess it came from a group of us seniors in this one AP class where that was an inside joke.

  • I have no idea. It's been 13 years, DAYUM.
  • I don't remember what our song was. I remember rolling my eyes at it because it wasn't a graduation type song, at all. This should be the year for my 10 year reunion, but I haven't heard anything from anyone. I'm assuming I'll go since I was friends (and am still friendly) with quite a few... but also our class size was only 50-60ish.

  • You know, I don't have the foggiest idea either if we had a class song.
  • It was Greenday's Good Riddance (Time of Your Life).

I forget the names of the 60 people I graduated with, but I remember that.
