Embroidery on satin Help!

Has anyone embroidered on satin? I'm making my daughter a Rapunzel dress and want to embroider flowers on satin. I'm about to do a test run but the fabric already seems very sensitive. Any suggestions or tips?

Maybe interfacing would help?
Lots of stabilizer. At least 2 layers of medium weight tearaway.
I am assuming you are doing machine embroidery? You might even want to use sticky to keep it from sliding.
