AW: Amelia Rose

So after a pretty difficult pregnancy I was induced this past Sunday because the high risk doctor didn't want me going any farther along because of the pre-eclampsia. Sadly, the induction failed and on Tuesday I had a c-section.

Amelia Rose was born at 5:19PM on January 8th. She weighed 7lbs 4 oz and was 20 inches long.

I'm so excited and had to AW her to all y'all. Hubby and I are kinda in shock that we're parents now. Just last year we were sure that we had long road of TTC if any, but we feel so blessed that things turned out differently.

Thanks everyone!

We actually ended up having to have her re-admitted to the hospital on Monday because her Jaundice was not going away. It was the most heartbreaking thing I think I've ever gone through. But she responded amazingly to the treatment and got to come home the very next evening! She surprised all the doctors.

Hopefully there won't be anymore hospital in our future for a long time! I've spent WAY too much time in hospitals recently. :P

I know there were some ladies who found out they were pregnant around the time of our weddings, but I can't remember who... has anyone heard from any of them?
