How do you clean your hardwood floors?

So far i've been hand washing with water and a cloth.  What do you use?

  • I do it the lazy way and use the Swiffer WetJet.  It depends on the finish of your floors, though.  I think it says on the bottle of hardwood cleaner for it which finishes are ok.

  • good question sugar! ive been using the swifter wet cloths but i feel like its pricy. Curious what others use too!

  • I bought a new mop where I can add my own solution. I used water, vinegar and a little baking soda. I'm sure you can google exact measurements. While it did clean them, it did not make them shine. I've been meaning to pick up a bottle of the orange glow polish spray. 

    I know someone used tea bags (seeped the tea in hot water) then used that solution to mop with

    i should look into the wet jet versus the cloths. How often do you buy new cleaning liquid (or whatever you call it lol) ?
