lyssboiss re:chili in a bag

I posted this in the thread on E08 but figured it would get lost in all the drama. I love chili in a bag, too... but up here we call it it a "walking taco". You just put ground beef, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream etc in a fun-size bag of Fritos and there you have it! MMM. I'd never heard of this until I worked in Dayton and thought it sounded awful, but I tried it and yum!

Re: lyssboiss re:chili in a bag

  • We actually had them once or twice in my high school cafeteria.  They are pretty yummy.  But so, so bad.

Yes, I totally recognize the irony of working ina  health care setting where we were served chili in a bag.  Ha!

Well, you can walk around while you eat it, so at least you're getting exercise??

Haha, kinda like McDonald's in hospitals...

hey, gotta drum up business somehow! Wink (kidding!)

  • how exactly do you eat this?  spoon?  fork?  as a dip using the Fritos?
