What do you do with gnocchis?
My DH bought two packages and I'm not sure what to do with them, besides throw some spaghetti sauce on them!
Any ideas?

Re: What do you do with gnocchis?
Amanda - how do you think it would work if you started with saut?ed onion instead of saut?ed garlic? Or a combo of the two? I have garlic issues.
Maybe sub in a shallot? Minced finely. Or onion, but just make sure it is sauteed until softened so it doesn't affect the temps and the flavor has time to mellow. I had no idea you and garlic did not get along!
Rachel Ray has some recipes that use them like dumplings.

i can tolerate a small amount, like one clove in a pot of soup, but above a certain threshold I can't taste anything else in the dish and it gives my digestive issues. Onions can do the same, but it takes a much larger amount to trigger the problem. Now that I'n cooking more regularly, I am fine tuning what I can tolerate. But I basically avoid anything that lists garlic as an ingredient in restaurants...
Yummmmm. I think I know now what DH is getting for his birthday dinner next week!

OMG, this sounds amazing.
I always just through some kind of sauce on them and serve with a salad. I like to grab some when I am at the store to have as a different quick dinner option.
sometimes I will use them as a "side" with some baked chicken or something.
