So I'm back from Disney, and missed my E08/A06 gals(EDIT: and guys!)! I thought about all of you Disney enthusiasts a lot (Dev, Shoshie, Marquis, etc). We had a bunch of semi-drama with the ILs (Dh is the black sheep of the family), but overall we did well. Can't wait to go back!
What did I miss? What is 2Vermont's post about on the other board?!?

Welcome back!
Welcome back!
Stay away from the E08 board today. It's a clusterf*ck of high emotion and silliness.
YAY!! Your back
I demand pics!
?
Welcome back!
Did you get to see Winnie the Pooh? He's my favorite!!!
That was Dev22 by the way. Damn computer sharing.?
You should make him use IE
We went to all parks, and that was super fun. DH and I had never been to Animal Kingdom, so we were into that the most. DH loves photographing animals, so we rode the safari twice to get as many good animal pics as possible. Of course, Expedition Everest was really cool as well.
Epcot was way more fun than I remember. The World part is really cool, and the newer rides they have are awesome! I ddin't think Soarin' was as cool as some people did, and the pine scent was way over used, but Test Track and Mission Space were awesome. Hollywood Studios had by far the two best rides - Rockin' Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror. However, it also had the worst ride - Backlot Tour. And I never got to see the Little Mermaid or ride Star Tours, which made me sad. The Magic Kingdom was a lot worse than I remember, but I'm 25 now, so maybe that's why. I did get my picture taken with a lot of characters, which was awesome.
We had reservations at a few really cool places - Les Chefs de France, which was delicious. I had the macaroni gratin, which was awesome gruyere pasta, and it was delicious. DH had their veggie lasagna, which was also very tasty. We also went to the Brown Derby, and I had the Cobb salad without turkey and bacon. Very good, and I recommend it. DH had the tofu dish, and was also very good. We also had lunch at Cinderella's Table, which I would only recommend to people with children under 10. The food was okay, but not stellar.
DH and I did take some time to do Downtown Disney, which was awesome! We had delicious sundaes at Ghiradelli, and I would love to spend more time there. I got some great Christmas gifts there.
The Kindle worked out GREAT. I finished one book on the way there, and started another. I'm about a quarter of the way through. I love it, and really recommend it!
The cats had to stay in a kennel (our vet runs it), and I missed them a lot. We're picking them up shortly (we're also off today)! I can't wait to see them!
I love EPCOT, too! I haven't eaten at France in the longest time, though (I was 12) because I don't like French food. My parents love Canada; I'm partial to Italy. Although, Germany is a blast, so I'm going to try to make it there next time I go.
Glad you had fun! Did you go on the Great Movie Ride (MGM)?
