Monday
What's up with everyone? I'm rotting at work for the next 6.5 hours doing A/V for some real estate seminar.
Work is sooooo busy right now, my only day off is Wednesdays. I was beginning to feel down about my position recently but had a ton of positive reinforcement over the weekend, so I feel pretty secure until at least after Easter.
We are still waiting to hear from BIL and SIL about how much they want to rent their place out for. I have mixed feelings about it. I would love to move over there for the space and the larger yard, the dishwasher and central AC, the bathtub and the large pantry. The inside laundry room. But if it's too much I would rather save the money. So conflicting!

My monday is going pretty well. Rotting at work for the next 3.5 hours! Been here for 4.5 already!
This morning was brutal taking the dogs outside! It was pouring down rain! They had absolutely no desire to go out. So I had to put them on their leash, get an umbrella (for me!), and drag them outside! I may not have worried about it as much, but they didn't go out before we went to bed last night! It was raining then too - DH opened the door, they each took a couple of steps outside, looked at us like we were crazy, and came right back in!
I need to hit the gym HARD this week! DH and I had an awesome weekend. We went to Cheeseburger in Paradise on Friday night with some friends, and drank some. Then on Saturday night after he got off work (9ish), we decided to go to Hooters because we really wanted some wings. We ended up having some drinks there too! But, it was definitely worth it - we haven't done something like that in a long time!

It's still only Monday? I'm exhausted.
My parents were here all weekend so I didn't get a lot of stuff done for this week. I am a little overwhelmed with all the extra stuff I have to do... run an honor society, talent show auditions, the talent show, parent meetings, etc.
I'm looking forward to a few years from now when I've got all this stuff running easily but right now it's all brand new.
Wowzers! You're always doing something extra! Sounds like you're super involved at the school! :-)

I may have missed this ages ago, but whatever ended up happening with the guy and the swapping of positions? Did that go down?
Oh yes, it went down. We have all been in our new positions since July. Funny thing is, I've had to fill in for my old position a few times due to the other guy taking off every now and then. One girl that I've gotten pretty close with (probably bc we're the only 2 women in the department), she works closely with the Director, who is one of the high ranking dudes and he told her just last week that he likes it better when I'm in that position (the old one). It makes me want to run around throwing things and doing cartwheels, yelling "I told you so!"
That's good that they realize it. Sometimes people come up with these "great" ideas because they think it sounds amazing in the moment. You can definitely enjoy the "I told you so" celebration.
