Found an apartment but...
I found and apartment that I really like the only issue I'm having is it's a month to month rental. This is my first move on my own and know nothing about it. Are there things I should ask or know? I live in Westchester NY if anyone knows the codes or rights for renters.
Re: Found an apartment but...
Ask why it's month to month. A normal property won't be. Is the owner wanting to come back sometime soon, he's just not sure when? That could mean expensive moving costs for you again soon. Ask if they're willing to consider a set lease for X months.
