Surprise 30th Birthday Party for my husband
I am in need of a little help... I want to plan a surprise 30th for my husband in June. I have no idea of any good places to host it for about 70people. Any suggestions??

My Bio
I had a surprise 30th for my H, too. it was also a celebration of his graduation from nursing school.
We belong to an Eagles club (mt. washington) so we had it there. We hired a bar tender and had an open bar. It was a great night and really inexpensive, considering.
If you or a family member belongs to an Eagles, Moose, VFW, etc. those are great options.
Otherwise, we just found this space, The Banksville Park Indoor Shelter (city park) where we're having our son's first birthday party. It holds about 70 people and for an additional $50 you can have an alcohol permit.

If you're looking for a caterer, I HIGHLY recommend Monte Verde on Camp Horne Rd. They've done two events for me. Their prices are really reasonable, the service is outstanding, and the food is good. If you decide to use them, I would appreciate it if you told them Ryan recommended them.
Good luck!
