So this is such a HUGE deal for me and I just have to share with you ladies! Most of you know that I have PCOS and of course am taking medicine and all that good stuff. The part you may not know is I have been seeing an endocrinologist since I was 18 literally it was about 2 days after my 18th birthday I will be 24 in July so almost 6 years.
I started this medicine in August and went back today for my check up. All my levels came back AMAZING compared to what they have been. She did however double my dosage of medicine but that is because H and I are TTC so that would help us to get pregnant and still give me enough to keep it where it is.
She also said I can come back in August for a 6 month check up and then if everything looks good it will be my last apppointment EVER! From there on my general doctor and my obgyn should be able to do it all unless something was to change.
This is such a huge step for me since finding out about the PCOS when I was 16! It will be nice not to have to go but it's also such a huge change for me to be like everything is okay. My mom is so shocked by this but I am feeling like a new person. I just really wanted to share good news with you ladies!!
