You know about my pneumonia, but I had bronchitis before that (right after Christmas) and now I have it again. So I went to the doctor today and saw he PA, he's pretty sure I have allergy induced bronchitis, which is treated like asthma. We discussed that it could be whopping cough, but the only way to tell is if I have a blood test, and I'm past the contagious period, plus we're all vaccinated for it, but he said it does happen. Treatment at this point is the same though. GREAT......I am leaning towards it being the former since I don't have a croupy type of cough. So I'm doing a nebulizer treatment for 10 days then seeing a pulmonary specialist. I'm just hoping for some relief and he said I'm not contagious, which is also a relief.
