crib wedge

Does anyone use one of these to put under the crib mattress?  Does your kid end up upside-down by morning like mine?

Re: crib wedge

  • We don't use a wedge but when DS was A's age he had a nasty cold and they told us to prop his mattress..... yeah, he was in a ball at the bottom before I even went to bed.

    Good luck!

  • You can try rolling up a blanket and putting it at the baby's feet or under his or her butt to keep them from sliding down.

  • We didn't use the wedge either but that is what would have happened. DD2 slept in her swing or bouncer until she was 9 months.

  • We tried the wedge and had the same problem.  We ended up putting a towel under the end of her mattress.  It seemed to be a slight enough raise that she didn't roll.  We still have the towel under there, it helps with her sinuses.
  • Last night was better - I found her at 4am sideways, ha!
