Will's and POA's

Hi ladies!  My husband and I keep putting off haivng will's and/or POA's written in the god forbid case something would happen to us.  We want to make sure there is something in writing to appoint guardians for Natalie.  Does anyone else have these completed?  Recommendations on who to go to and a estimated cost involved?  thanks so much!

Re: Will's and POA's

  • we haven't done a will yet, but either of these can be done with a form you print out online and then have a notary officiate. I have POA of DH for everything with him being in Texas and me still in PA. i just printed it out, we both signed it and had a notary sign and stamp it. I'm not sure that there really is any difference between that and one that you would pay a lawyer for. Same thing for a will. There is will making software out there that my understanding is you just need a notary to witness and sign.
