Does anyone watch "new girl"? (spoilers)
First of all, let me state for the record how much I freaking LOVE this show.
What do we think of the kiss last week, and the resulting awkwardness last night? I have mixed feelings....sometimes I hate it when they get rid of that tension between characters and have them get together, it just loses the spark. But, at the same time (especially after that kiss!) I think they'd be great together.
Thoughts?

I do, but we didn't watch last night (it is just picked up on the DVR and we watch it later). Last week's kiss was so well done. I mean the tension and then it happening. Wow. Very passionate. I was mixed over it happening too. Especially since I like Sam and Jess together. I will be curious to see where the writers take this and if it turns out to not ruin the show, that would be great.
And can I just say how much Schmidt makes me laugh.
Yeah, that kiss was definitely hot.
I adore Schmidt. That episode a few weeks ago when he was helping Winston "embrace his culture"?? I nearly died. I love how the show sometimes takes it just to the brink of being uncomfortable (like them going to buy "crack cocaine") then does something to bring it back down, that makes you laugh even more.

But I didn't read any of your post b/c I didn't see last night's episode yet. This is one of the few shows that John & I both love to watch b/c we are always laughing out loud. Some of Schmidt's lines are so classic!

I love new girl. I can honestly say I didn't think Sam and Jess would last long. I also know pretty much everyone over in the imdb boards have been begging for Nick and Jess to hook up and while I saw the chemistry I never thought the writers would do it. That being said it was certainly not an oops I kissed my best friend kind of kiss. I'm not sure what I'd want to see happen.
Nick being so excited over that Sam saw him as a threat was hilarious. But I mean with all that chemistry between the two it is 1000% believable.
got it ! JanePitt ruined that for me by posting it on her blog last week before I saw the show. I for one am not thrilled that they kissed - usually when that happens the "chase" is over & the show starts to go downhill so we'll see what the writers come up with. I'm still hoping CC & Schmidt will get back together.
