Above your bed
What do you ladies have hanging above your bed? On the wall, not the ceiling 
We don't have a headboard on our bed so I've been trying to think of something to put above our bed. My thought was to get 5 frames, paint them black (the wall is dark grey), put a nice scrapbook paper in the frame then get wooden letters (painted light grey) to spell out Mr/Mrs (one letter/frame). I would get a big ampersand (painted yellow?) to hang between the frames so it looked sort of like this:

A) Did that even makes sense?
Do you think that would look OK?
C) Or should I just stick with a piece of art instead?

We have a huge headboard. My sister didn't have a headboard so she wrapped a piece of plywood in padding and some nice fabric and it looks great.
IMHO I kind of think the Mr and Mrs is sort of cheesy. Sorry
I don't hate the idea, but I don't love it either. I'm no help because we have a really tall bed with an even taller headboard, so there's not a lot of room above the headboard to hang stuff.

I agre with the other ladies it's not a horrible idea but I think you could fine something else. I'm all up for making the headboard or just doing art. We have an actual headboard but if we didn't I would do like the mirrors or a shelf. Even like wall scones (sp?) with art or a fun quote on the wall.
In our kitchen we have all these frames or boards that have like kitchen sayings on them and you could do something like that with like love sayings or quotes. I know Hobby Lobby has a bunch of things like that.
I agree with the other ladies too.
We don't have a headboard and I ended up wrapping several (8 or so) different sized canvas' with three different (but similar color) fabrics and hung them on the wall above our bed.

I think the 'Mr. &Mrs.' idea is cute, but I would put it on another wall in the bedroom and not over the bed.
I tend to like art hanging over the bed. This is what we have:

We have a nameframe that we recieved as a wedding gift above ours. It is our last name made out of photographs. It is black and white and I actually really like it. I wasn't sure where to put it, so I tried it there and it looks nice with our room.

I'm not a lot of help on this one. Our bed is really tall with an even taller headboard so we are maxed out on space. I would have some room, but I think it would look cluttered and stupid.
My sister also doesn't have a headboard on her bedding - so she and her husband came up with a headboard made out of plywood, found some cloth that they both liked and stapled it with some padding and it looks fantastic. They then took some family photos and made a really neat collage of pictures sitting above that. They said is was pretty inexpensive and it looks great....

I have seen a ton of good ideas on making headboards on pinterest. I think one used old doors or pallets? I might be remembering this wrong but didn't sabrina do something cool with chevrons over there bed?

we have nothing above the bed as of now...our plan was to put a HUGE canvas of one of our wedding pictures.....but the photog stopped answering our txts emails etc so its unlikely we will ever see the larger size of the files that we spent the extra money to get) in order to blow it up that big. So we might just wait till we do our TTD this spring (with a diff photographer) and see if any of those turn out good enough/artsy enough to put up.
As far as your idea...I like it, but not really the 5 frames, seems like it would feel busy....what about just 2 frames? One for MRS one for MRS and the & in the middle as a large stick on for the wall or something?
