So did you know it going to snow?????

Hey gals. What (if anything) are you doing to prepare for this storm?  Any predictions as to how much we are going to get?

Re: So did you know it going to snow?????

  • I did buy milk and eggs last night but that's because we needed it.

I have TP, will have J make sure everything in place for generator, and there is a lot of food to cook.

As for predictions? I have no clue.  Maybe a foot?

  • I tend to do grocery shopping on Friday nights, but bumped it up to Wednesday night to make sure I don't run out of milk for my coffee!  That's about it.  We have the generator we bought after the hurricane and we have gas to power it and the snow blower, so I guess we're as ready as we're going to get.

  • I ran out and got some good snacks for tomorrow night.  I already got approved to leave early tomorrow so fingers crossed it starts later in the afternoon. I think it's going to be  piled high. Be safe everyone!!!
  • I made sure I had enough booze.  LOL

As for prepping...well, we have a small generator, won't do much, but I'm not really worried about power going out.  But then again, who knows.  *shrug*

  • i picked up milk last night but thats because my DH drinks its like crazy and i knew we would run out. We have a snow blower and a generator (that only DH knows how to use) and he is working tomorrow but we have gas for it.... My parents live a mile away they said if we lose power they will just come rescue me and the pup. Other than that, planning on working from home tomorrow and enjoying the day at home in between doing my part of shoveling.   I think we will get a decent amount, its been a while since we had a blizzard.

  • I ran to the store yesterday for some stuff.  Nothing too major.  I'm working from home today and N has an early dismissal.  No clue for totals, I'd guess about a foot.
