Does anyone give anything up for Lent? If so, what are you giving up this year?
I've been giving it a lot of thought and I think I'm going to give up drinking pop, Facebook, and The Nest...
I really want to focus more on my relationship with my H. I feel like I spend too much time at night on the internet and that time should be spent cuddling with my man instead
So I have until Wednesday then I'll be signing off for 46 days. I'm hoping to make it more of a lifestyle change afterwards so we'll see how everything works out.
Hey, Hey Hockeytown!

Re: Lent
I'm assuming you're not on TN/FB during work...thats the only time I'm really on. I check it once in a while when I'm home, but I'm almost always need something to keep be entertained during work so I'd DIE without FB/TN!
I'll miss you around here when you're taking the time off! I totally understand your reasoning, and if I wasn't on here mostly during work, I'd consider taking some time off as well if I felt as though I was on here too much and not spending enough time with H.
I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do for Lent...I usually don't do anything, but I think this year I'm going to try harder.

I don't normally give up anything for Lent, but our new church recommends it. We got a list yesterday at church I am going to have to go through. I think it?s a good idea. I agree with unplugging too and I have done it from time to time.
