As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Backstory: BIL and family are moving out of their house in March. We currently live in a small converted apartment that is attached to it, they are our landlords. They are keeping the whole property as a rental. Our side is pretty bare bones. No central AC/heat, no dishwasher, no bathtub, our laundry room is outsude in the storage shed. The backyard is shared currently but they will need to put up a fence which will reduce our side's yard drastically. We have been waiting to hear how much they will charge for rent on the other side.
H talked to BIL today and the difference is only going to be $100!!! So in April we are going to move next door. I'm going to have a bathtub! And no wood panelling! And a dishwasher! Central air! And inside laundry! A better Internet connection! And quite probably a bit more sanity.

We're so excited! I wasn't sure that H was as excited as me, but we've been talking about where we are going to put things and all that ever since we found out. He has even already decided where our bed is going to be and who will sleep on which side lol.
We won't move til April, so it's a good thing that I'll be super busy at work all the way through Easter, otherwise the anticipation would kill me. Our current apartment was supposed to be temporary but it's been 3 years and I'm so ready to be out. I mean, it's not awful, but the layout makes it seem small, and the simple things we don't have, which come with most places, are going to feel like a luxury hahaa.
