eat sleep play? or eat play sleep?

sleeping (and lack thereof) is driving me mad.  It is time to get some sort of pattern in our days to help her with her sleeping.

Do you eat-sleep-play?  or eat-play-sleep?

TIA

Re: eat sleep play? or eat play sleep?

  • We do eat play sleep.

  • We were doing eat, play, sleep until I started them on a sleep schedule a month ago.  The eat every 3 hours and sleep every 2 hours.  Each nap varies from 30 to 60 minutes.  We play during awake time.
Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

  • We do play, eat, sleep because nine times out of ten, she falls asleep when she's done eating. We nurse or give a pumped bottle in the glider in a dark or dimly lit room with white noise going. It helps her from getting distracted.

  • I just noticed recently that he has his own schedule, so now my days are easier since I can usually decipher what he wants. He eats, plays/hangs out/content for 1-2 hours, then sleeps (usually a catnap of 20-45 min with the rare longer nap). When he wakes he is usually ready to eat again or within 20 minutes. I go by his cues though. He was already doing this I just finally caught on.
Thanks to our wonderful RE our family is complete!

Yep. This.  L has his own schedule and it is almost exactly what CCH said.  He tends to like to play, eat, sleep because he usually falls asleep after eating.

  • Like CCH - it took me a while to catch on to what she is doing.

    It varies.

Her typical schedule is eat - play - sleep when I'm gone yo work, then it's play, eat, sleep. when I'm home.
