Has anyone used Mixbook?

I'm trying to decide if it's worth the trouble of switching over. My kids' birthdays are opposite ends of the year, so there's never a great time to switch photo programs!

I like their designs a lot, and their extra pages are less expensive, but Shutterfly does run deep discounts throughout the year and the biggest sale I've seen for Mixbook is 20% off.

I always look for reviews like this online.

The finished product is more polished than anything I've ever gotten back from Snapfish, but not quite as high quality as products I've received from Shutterfly, our Editors' Choice.

I've used or Christmas cards in 2011. Had a groupon. Worked well. Site user friendly.

I've been using mixbook to do photo albums twice a year for the last couple years and I think I used them for Christmas cards in 2011. Everytime I've made a photo album, I've had a groupon to use. Their photo albums are fun to make because you get to pick little pictures and things to add to the pages almost like scrapbooking. I still use snapfish for my photo storage and ordering regular prints though. I have only loaded photos onto mixbook specifically to make albums. I get emails from them pretty regularly that have some good specials. I've never really used shutterfly though so I can't compare.

Yeah, I like their designs and it's pretty user friendly. I've been using Shutterfly twice a year for my kids' books, and I'm just annoyed with it and bored with the design choices at this point. I just hope that the finished product is as nice b/c Shutterfly's printing is a lot nicer than Snapfish's on the photo books. So if it's more like Snapfish, I'd rather deal with Shutterfly's quirks .

I think the mixbook photo albums really print nice. Everyone I've showed them to comments on how nice they are. I've done photo albums on snapfish and not loved them. Mixbook albums definitely look significantly nicer than the snapfish ones.
