Re: Fios users what do you pay

  • We just signed up too and our estimated monthly payment is about $120 for the triple play with the first level of TV choices, a DVR box and the option to play DVR in any room (we have two boxes total).  Standard internet and standard landline.

  • We pay under $90 for home internet and tv.  We have one multiroom HD DVR and one HD box so we can watch shows on both tvs.  We have our cell phones (not smartphones) on the same bill for $180 a month for everything.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • We have FIOS TV and internet (no home phone). The downstairs tv has a full cable box with on-demand and other bells and whistles. The upstairs tv has a mini-cable box that does not have HD or other bells and whistles. Including taxes and fees, it is $108/mo.

Installation has been free with both our old house and our current house.

  • It also depends on what promotion they are running at a given time.  Last month, it was 89.99.  Now it's 94.99.  They sometimes throw in a gift card, free DVR for life, etc.

We signed up a few months ago and have this same deal. We don't use the landline, but it was actually cheaper to do the triple play than just cable and internet

same here.  We still don't use the landline (the phones anymore are really crappy)  But once they tack on all their fees and taxes, it's more than $120.  I think our bill came to around $136-140.  But then we added a couple premium channels, so now our bill is up around $170.

That's weird because our total bill with taxes and fees is $118

  • We are very loyal Directv fans... however just found out that DH will no longer be reimbursed for our internet which means a $59 crapcast internet bill that I do not want to pay. That plus never being able to watch the Phillies, I think DH is finally caving...

We are switching to Verizon for the combo, there is a 89.99 offer right now with a $250 visa giftcard back with a two year contract. We will be at 4 HD tv's with dvr and I think the standard package for channels, and upgraded internet since DH uses for work, pretty sure it will be about $130 per month
