Sleepover in L&D

I started having contractions this morning and a little bit of bleeding, came in to get monitored in triage and I was having contractions 1-2 min apart for a while; they gave me fluids and the contractions spaced out to "irritable uterus" instead of evenly spaced contractions. No dilation, but I got the steroid shot to mature his lungs and now I get to have a sleepover in L&D tonight. They don't seem to think he'll actually be born any time soon, but were slightly concerned about a placental abruption because apparently they can start out with bleeding and contractions and then taper off and then start again.
Fun day...
