Today when DH and I were in his hometown we decided to look up houses for sale in the area. We called all the different realtors and couldn't get in touch with anyone. We hopped in the car with his parents and drove to each house to check out the neighborhood, etc. Finally, a realtor got back to us and we were able to see a house. We fell in love with it and it is at a really good price. Later his parents looked at it as well and told us we need to buy it. We are going to go through the person who does the banking at the office. If we can have a house before Abigail comes I will be so happy!
Re: House Hunting
Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.
I hope that you are able to get it! House shopping is such a stressful experience, and it would be great if you could buy the first house you see!
Let me know if you need any advice or anything. We have been working on house shopping for a while now, so I know a bit about what is going on out there.
01.21.2012---> I married a redhead I'm crazy about.
04.2016: IT'S A BOY! Elias Alan is due!
WDW trips: 05/14 (1st trip! Art of Animation; Little Mermaid), 05/15 (Pop Century!). DL Trips: 12/15
Thanks! I printed out the loan application today and am already overwhelmed. I tried talking to DH about it quickly, but he had to run to pick up his class. We'll have to work on it once we get home. I can't believe the amount of paperwork involved!
It is quite crazy how much paperwork is involved. Just try to take it a chunk at a time if you can. Also the best thing you can do is get a folder and keep all of the paperwork you need in it- like bank statements and pay stubs. That way, when you need to go to the bank, you can just grab the folder.
How exciting but get ready for a crazy stressful time in your life. Towards the finalizing of our house purchase I was so over the process. Just be ready to dig up paperwork for everything!
I hope it works out and you get your house quckly!
