36 Weeks
Only one week left until I'm considered full term. I'm still not sure why they consider 37 weeks full term and 40 weeks your due date. I know it's been explained to me - the only part I remember is that after you hit 37 weeks if you go into labor they don't try to stop it.
Bought the last piece of furniture for Lily's room this weekend. It's a cube organizer that we are using as a bookshelf and toy storage. I'm actually okay with the pink. It's what DH wanted. I originally was going to get a white one, but he wanted more pink in her room. This is my concession.
We are still waiting on a few other items. The floor lamp we want was back-ordered. It's paid for, we are just waiting on it to ship. And the canvas' with her name will go on the wall above this bookshelf. I'm still holding out on putting them up in case anyone comes over between now and her birth.
And our other child-related purchase this weekend was an SUV. It's a Subaru Tribeca. Definitely holds the car seat better than my car or DH's truck. And I have to say the heated seats were super nice this morning since it was 28 outside. Only picture I have so far from when we were filling it up to drive home.

I have a subaru too. I have an older Forrester though. I absolutely love it. Can you let me know after a few weeks how you like the Tribecca though. I might be getting a new car soon too. What is the gas mileage like?
My DH has a 2003 Forrester! It's gray. He loves his too!

I have a 2003 too, but mine is white. Well, right now it is grey because of all the snow... I can't imagine getting a new car, but I have almost 110k on it. And I have put about 14k on in the past year. It was my grandfather's, and we always used to make fun of him for getting a subaru, but I don't think I could drive anything else.
I'm new to the Subaru family but I'm loving it. The gas mileage is okay - pretty normal for an SUV. But it's also a 2007 so it might be better in a newer model. It gets about 16-18 in the city and 20-22 on the highway. Most of the other SUVs we looked at were in the same mileage group. It's better mileage than DH's truck which is what I would have been driving but not nearly the same as my tiny car.
The dealer had a Forrester there as well. I really liked it but we ended up picking the Tribeca due to the space and features.

I am finding it crazy hard to wrap my head around the fact that in a month (give or take) you'll have a baby! Time goes by so dang fast. I was just talking to DH about this over the weekend.... I'm already feeling the need to make sure the nursery is done and I've got a ways to go.
