H and I are celebrating this weekend since he works late. Any excuse for a date night is fine with me!
Anyone else excited about buying a card that says "husband" on it? I found the perfect one for H about being "Mr. Fix-it" since he's spent the last couple weeks fixing my car :-)
OMG yes! I had the hardest time before finding a good card when we were dating or engaged, now it's easier to find a good card!

Funny story... last weekend I was in Wal-Mart picking up a few things and walked past the cards, practically ALL of the "Husband" cards were picked over, however, the "Wife" cards were all fully stocked. Good indication of WHO shops in advance! lol

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!
I LOVED the husband cards. H isn't very sappy when it comes to cards so I lean towards the funny ones. I got him one that says all the crazy things a wife does like hog the covers and take up bathroom time and at the end it's like "but that's what a wife does." Super cute!!!
I got H some candy and a card and then this weekend we are going to pick up a depth finder for the boat.
And of course as you all saw Sunday night H got me those beautiful pearl earrings and then today I got a matching bracelet. He got them because I ended up with MIL's pearl necklaces and I love them so he got me those to make it a set.
And then we are leaving tomorrow to go to Dallas for the weekend!!!!
Love those earrings, I bet the bracelet is beautiful too!
Pearl is my birthstone and I'm always looking for cute pearl jewelry, do you know where your H got those earrings?

He got them at Zales as a set. They are amazing. I have never had pearls and have always wanted some and since I saw MIL's like 2 years ago I have been obsessed. It was such a complete surprise I honestly would have never guessed that's what my gift was.

Happy Valentines Day!
I used the "things I love about you" heart idea, I make about 15 of them last night and I hid them all around the house before DH got up. I put them in all of the cupboards/drawers he goes in to in the mornings, his lunch box, his shoes and even his coat pockets! He was so happy.
Hope you all enjoy your first V-Day as wives, I loved shopping for a Husband card too!

Hubby and I are going away this weekend for his birthday/valentine's day (his birthday is the 26th) so what did i get today? Baseboards in our addition and an unsigned valentines card! lol he's so thoughtful

Im not big on valentines day...but I have my reasons...but at same time I love valentines day lol
Loved getting husband card...we both went funny...havent given each other the cards yet..have to wait till he gets home from work tonight...I making dinner but we did our "date" monday.
Hubby got me a new tattoo
He's awsome like that hehe. Ive been wanting it for a while now...my favorite rock band is Halestorm and I love their symbol so I told hubby when we ordered our tickets for their concert for our 1 yr (with his fav band Bullet for my Valentine)...that I had to have this tattoo before the concert....seen em so many times its only fitting

It is purple with a pink outline around the black outline...this was right after so its a little red lol...will get a new pic tonight its healing up nicely
Then we went to a bar nearby the tattoo shop and had a fun night there
Can't ask for a better night lol.
