My H is *literally* the best!
So I felt terrible because I had forgotten about Valentine's Day until I heard something about it on the radio this morning. I called up H, wished him Happy Valentine's Day, and offered that he pick out a recipe for me to cook in the Crock Pot for our Valentine's dinner tonight. I got the idea to grab a DQ cake on the way home, and you ladies inspired me to get a card that says "husband" on it :-)
So H calls me during my 3 hours at home (11-2) and says to make sure I'm home at 12:30 for a delivery. I was out grocery shopping for tonight so I rushed home, looking for a flower truck or Edible Arrangements or something, super excited to learn that H didn't forget about Valentine's Day. I got back to the apt, relieved that I hadn't missed a delivery yet, and when I heard a knock, I opened the door and H surprised me at the door!!! He had pizza with him and I couldn't believe it! He only had 20 minutes at home because he works a half hour away, so he had taken a 1.5 hr lunch break to do this! He really is the best :-)

I would LOVE a surprise lunch with ... I'd take that over flower or candy any day!
H and I decided that the UCONN basketball game last night was our Vday date.
Luckily UCONN won. He was telling me about his father calling him yesterday to remind him that today was Valentine's day... haha. H was like, yeah, I know. FIL said 'Well, what did you get for zamboni?' and H told him he got me a card. FIL told him that he should really get me some flowers or something 
So funny. H told him that I prefer edible arrangements 
He knows me pretty well!
With our trip to Vegas this weekend, I told H to save his money and we'll just have fun in Vegas instead of having flowers or anything delivered. Not that I'd complain if he did
but we have an awesome trip planned, and all I got him was a couple of cards, anyways! haha.
