This seemed to keep things moving last week! Post your random thoughts!
Re: Friday Randoms!
I don't really get the Harlem Shake craze that seems to have exploded this week-am I missing something? A backstory to it or something?
I'm going to Aladdins for lunch and I'm scared. I'm going to guess there are no cheeseburgers on the menu.

My brother watched my kids last night when Walt and I went out, and I ordered them a pizza. Now I don't know what to have for dinner tonight.
Speaking of my brother, he was scared to death to be in charge! The kids were excited and treated him well, so I think he'd do it again.
I went to Starbucks this morning and they messed up my order multiple times, resulting in me getting a free coffee the next time I go. I'm kind of happy that they messed up!
I went with my SIL so I could try on dresses for her wedding. I've determined in listening to all the chatter at the store that unless it's YOUR wedding, the process is not nearly as fun as it was when you're the bride (and holy crap are there some crazy brides out there).
Switching to an iPhone was a good and bad thing. I'm loving the conveniences, but I also can see how addictive it is!
I love going to the bridal shop! Seriously, so entertaining. Although the one my sister used(Anne Gregory) wasn't nearly as entertaining as the one I got my dress at(Candalina Brides). When I got my dress, there was a bride with her mother and the poor woman was a mess of chiffon. She was like 4'5" and trying on all of these long flowing MOB dresses. Plus, she was a bit bigger and everytime she came out of the dressing room she gave the rest of the salon a full view of her backside.
On a wedding note, I am so happy that I am not a BM in my sister's wedding because I am ridiculously in love with the dress I got. I found it on Pinterest and became obsessed. Plus my sister got the necklace I wanted to wear with it for more than 80% off because her boss damaged it out! Now I just need shoes.
I am considering skipping the gym tomorrow to go to a cake tasting. That is bad.
Nathan is going away tonight and tomorrow and I am kinda excited!
Jude did his first overnight with my MIL around this age. I was convinced that he would hate it and I'd have to pick him up in the middle of the night. Plus my MIL goes to bed late, is used to sleeping in, always has the tv on, and is always nagging him to eat more. BUT he did great. I found that it was me who had to let go of the fretting over whether he'd give her a hard time over a bath or eating dinner. He only does it a few times a year but he definitely sees it as a treat to sleep over at grandma's.
Emmy there are no burgers, but there are safe things like chicken in a pita, and they have amazing desserts, so you could always just get yourself a giant piece of chocolate cake.
I went shopping on my lunch hour yesterday to pick up a few clothes for our vacation. Since I didn't have much time, I just bought a bunch of stuff with the intention of returning so I spent more than I planned. Well, I got home and I like everything that I picked out (which never happens), so now I don't want to return anything. But I have to. But I don't want to.
On the plus side, I did buy a sweater poncho thing, that I was skeptical about at first, but it is actually really cute. And it was originally $99, but I got it on sale for $13!
I was on such a good running kick, but then I got hit with the trifecta of a sinus infection/double ear infection/bronchitis. I'm finally able to breathe again, but now I'm dreading starting back up again because I know it will be that much harder. Although, the Dr. put me on steroids, so maybe that will work to my advantage!
DH worked from home yesterday, and when I got home with the boys after work, he had decorated the kitchen for Valentine's Day, made our lobster pasta dinner, and had flowers. I was surprised, it was really sweet! I just wish he would show his love for me the other 364 days a year. (haha! J/K!!!)
After I recovered from bronchitis in the fall (for which I took some prednisone), I discovered that coffee + albuterol is like rocket fuel for runners.
Is that an inhaler? They gave me one of those too! Good, hopefully I'll be in good shape, I need all of the rocket fuel I can get.
Phew, yeah, I looked online I'll go with one of their pita pocket items, those seem pretty safe!
and yes, when in doubt, I could always just do dessert, haha!

There seems to be something ironic about putting Equal in my organic tea every morning.
C is going to spend the weekend at her grandparent's which is great because DH and I are both sick with the cold she gave us.
My big boss just emailed me that he'll be here between 1:30-2:30 and he has a project for me to do. I want to email this back to him.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are headed home from vacation today. I'm bummed to go back to cold weather and work again on Monday but I'm actually kind of ready to be back home. 2 weeks is a long time!! Dd has been pretty good the whole time but she was definitely driving me a bit nuts yesterday. We all need to get back to a bit of routine. I can't wait to not have to eat out all the time. And I am longing for my Zumba classes!
I am currently digging deep for motivation to run on my lunch break. c25k week4 day 1. So it is nice to see I am not the only one who is struggling today. I have been really good with watching my calories and working out in some form almost daily. I just have to get past this mental block today.
This x1000!
my big boss is very excited about the project I'm working on and has been stopping by my desk every 20-30 minutes. :-/
Nathan loves this youtube clip.It is hilarious.
Yup, an inhaler. It's been a godsend for running outdoors in the cold.
