Rant: I have SO much laundry to do and our dryer stopped working....ugh! I'll have to wash at home, then drive to the laundromat to dry everything, this sucks!
Rave: It's finally friday!
Weekend plans: We're supposed to be getting more snow, so H will be working all weekend. I'm hoping to get some stuff done around the house!

Rants: don't have much to rant about this week. I'll let you know if something pops up!
Raves: It's friday! And I only have to work until my real estate deal closes! Wooo! Just waiting for the purchaser's to send our office the $$$ so I can get it disbursed and go home!
Weekend plans: Off work whenever my deal closes, then Hubby and I are going away for the weekend!
We're going about 2 hours away and got a hotel room, and we're going to go skiing tomorrow, and maybe on Sunday (we'll see) if not we might just wander through the town and come home! I'm so excited. And then Monday...(that's right! I get a 3 day weekend! woo!) it's "Family Day"... basically I think the government decided that because there's such a long break between New Years and Easter we need a Feb break.. but whatever... I don't have to work Monday so I think Hubby and I will just hang out at home. The Family Day holiday also coincides with a week long school break for schools/university. We get February break instead of March.
Weekend Plans: A lot of errands and chores, and possibly visiting the ILs
Rants:Some changes going on at work that I'm not thrilled about :-/
Raves: Valentine's Day was awesome. Today is Friday. And I have Monday off.
Rants: Paperwork is done for MIL's house so we can sell it and all we need to do is go sign this week. However BIL wants to wait till March because he doesn't want to leave work 5 min early. No lie it's literally 5 mins and that is with the lawyers office staying open later just for us!
Raves: I'm only working half a day today and then H and I are going out of town!!!
Weekend Plans: Once I get off work H and I are hitting the road to Dallas (about 3 hours away.) Tonight we are checking into the hotel and hanging out at the mall and Dave and Busters. Then tomorrow we are going to the Dallas World Aquarium and Cabela's and who knows where else. Sunday we are not sure what we are going to do maybe hit up another restaurant I want H to go to and then head home by about 2 or so.
Rant: our poor puppy still isn't feeling well. I'm hoping H coming home today will lift his spirits!
Raves: H is coming home tonight! It's just for the weekend, but that's okay.
WP: No real plans for tonight. I might try and go grocery shopping tonight so I don't have to do it tomorrow. We're doing Valentine's Day tomorrow. I think we're going to go see Warm Bodies & then I'm making a nice dinner. Sunday I think we'll just relax until H has to leave again.
Rant: last night was one of the longest of my life. We got a call from MIL to wish us Happy V day. Then she told us is starting radiation for her uterian(?) cancer next week. She has been doing chemo for 9 weeks now and the drs. decided they wanted her to also do 3 radiation treatments this next week and following it up with 9 more weeks of chemo. Poor husband is just beyond words stressed. Simply because we live in South Dakota and home is in CA. So we talked for hours and finally decided to send him to CA this coming Monday through next Saturday. Well in our neck of the world a last minute trip like this is costing us roughly $1,000. Thank goodness for savings but H just feels awful he is taking this out of the savings. I keep telling him, this is what it is used for! Besides...these are the things you have to do when you life half way across the country!
Rave: It's Friday and I at least get to spend a couple of days with Hubby before I send him off to the craziness of southern CA!
Weekend Plans: Well....they've changed since yesterday. I think we are going to try to still get some cabinets hung in our garage. Having dinner with my parents tonight. Tax season has offically begun, so my world is about to get at the very least, chaotic...so hopefully going to just try to relax.
Rants: I have been feeling down lately and I just want this week to end. And I am regretting this class section I am in. It's too late to change to a different section, so now I am stuck and feeling very behind.
Raves: H got me roses yesterday. I'm not big into V-day and it was a nice surprise because I actually never get them (mostly because the cat will eat them).
Weekend plans: Homework. Homework. Homework. And we have a 60th birthday party to go to. H's uncle was supposed to have the party this past Sunday, but it got cancelled due to the snow storm, and now it;s this Sunday. Honestly, I don't feel much like going. I'm not in the mood to deal with his family right now.
Rants: Don't know what we are going to do about our roof! We are getting our second quote tomorrow. First quote was tripple what I expected!
I just realized I forgot to go to TSC during lunch and get food for the pets! Now I have to go after work ugh!!
Raves: Its a long weekend for me! No work Monday for Presidents day!
Weekend Plans: DH and I are supposed to go to the Rodeo this weekend! We are getting everything out of the one spare room so I can paint on Monday! Otherwise we will probably just do other random things around the house.
