I wanted the Banksville park shelter for Adams 5th birthday but it is totally booked for July. I was hoping for something near a park for the kids since we wont have toys like we do when we are at the house.
Dormont rec center says it is $300 + a $200 refunable deposit....that seems a bit steep.
Since it is July and I will be almost 9 months pregnant and we have a lot of older people I don't want just a pavillion you have to walk down hill a mile to get to bathrooms- which for some reason they all have...
I didn't want to clean house twice and cook and make cake since the party will be about 2 weeks before my c-section. = /
I am sure a lot of places are booked already for July so any suggestions are great!
TIA!
Re: South Hills indoor family party venue sugestions??
I thought this may be a great option for Gabriel when he's older b/c his birthday is in February (but this could totally work for the summer too), Splash Water Sports (corner of Potomac and Bansville) does Scuba parties.

I think I told you I ended up booking Trax. I looked everywhere for something like that- South park doesn't really have anything indoor really. Trax ended up being $150, and they'll do a craft/activity for $2 a kid if we want. I figured if by some miracle it ends up being nice weather, there is that small play area there or they can at least go outside and run around.

I did think of that and called. the weekend I wanted is booked the Sunday before is open and then she tells me they only rent to residents. = (
