Bachelor talk! *spoilers*
Ok, I know that her hometown date was a hot mess, but I was really shocked that he sent Des home!! It broke my heart a little to watch him say goodbye, it really seemed like he thought he was making a mistake
I really figured it would be Catherine who was sent packing. (also, if I were here, I would be livid with my sisters!! They pretty much threw her directly under the bus!)
Thoughts? When is the Women Tell All special? I thought it was tonight, but then the preview looked like it was just Sean who would be talking.
Re: Bachelor talk! *spoilers*
I fell asleep right before the rose ceremony, so I had to read the EW recap to find out who he sent packing. I am shocked it was Des, too. Although, maybe her brother touched a nerve. I don't believe that at this point anyone really goes on The Bachelor to find true love - if you end up together, that's a bonus. So it was maybe to not lead her on? I don't know.
Also, can I just say that if I had a tv crew coming to my house, I'd at least close the cabinets in the kitchen, and shut the drawers all the way closed in the dresser in the bedroom. (Catherine's family!) And, seeing Des' parents, where in the heck did she come from?

I was shocked that he sent home Des too! I really didn't see that coming, even w/ the brother. I figured he'd send Catherine home. If it were me, I'd be more concerned about Catherine's hometown b/c I'd actually be questioning her, not just her family.
Des's parents seemed so sweet, and she is too. Where'd that brother come from! I could see the resemblance w/ her dad.
I also liked Lindsey's dad! His response to Sean asking his blessing was really nice and I liked her little brother (he looked like a good hugger)!
AshLee's dad had me in tears too! I can't imagine a 4yo being passed around like that -- what a shame.
I find it interesting overall that, aside from AshLee, none of his final girls appear to come from money. It seems like the guy contestants always have super fancy hometown settings, and the girls don't necessarily. Maybe producers feel that it's more important for the guys to have money than the women? Or maybe it's a coincidence! I was surprised Des's house was as nice as it was given that her family is poor and she works as a bridal consultant.
