Ten Things Tuesday
Alright, so things are dead here so here it goes ten randoms, confessions, UO's , etc.
And go..........
1. Ava Nichol naps in the living room now on the the floor on a blanket. Lately if I just ignore her (Bad mommy!) when she starts getting fussy about 65% of the time she will put herself down for a nap. Confession: A couple days ago she fell asleep half in the dog's bed and I didn't move her.
2. I can't stop buying Ava Nichol stuffed animals for holidays and milestones.
3. I am so nervous for my surgery next Tuesday. I am trying to just not think about it.
4. We are planning on moving across the country in the next 4 years. I am so excited but not looking forward to telling DH's family, who all live around here. They are so full of drama and I am expecting to be guilted, bribed and shut out.
5. Ava Nichol is cutting a tooth and it is making her a snot machine. Yuck.
6. I am planning a 50's style sock hop for Ava Nichol's 1st b-day and I am making her a fuchsia pink poodle skirt for the occasion. Also, I am looking for size 4 saddle shoes if anyone knows where I can find some let me know 
7. I am more excited for August and TTC #2 than I thought I would be. I think this is because I have crazy baby fever and I have had some time to wrap my head around having another one earlier than I thought I would.
8. I am irrationally irritated with everyone today. Stupid hormones. I am not a fan of the Depo Provera birth control shot.
9. I didn't get DH anything for Valentine's day so yesterday I saw a stuffed puppy holding and I love you heart that was 75% off so I bought it and a candy bar for him.
10. I tried writing this post 3 times on my phone before finally just getting on the computer during DD's nap. I love the convenience of getting on my phone but I wish it was easier to use.

1. OMG thank you for posting this! I feel like I'm the only one posting here sometimes!
2. 100 days til my due date!
3. I have zero motivation at work, and all of my co-workers are annoying me
4. I get to go out to dinner tonight! I have to be careful how much I eat so I don't feel sick. There's just no room left in my belly and somehow I still have 14 more weeks to go...
5. I am irrationally sad that this board is so dead. I was hoping with all the BFPs that it would pick up.
6. I need a snack
7. I am so ready for spring!
8. I want to buy more maternity clothes, but I don't really need any more right now
9. I may have to size up in my maternity pants before this is all over. The bands are starting to get kind of tight.
10. I hope my baby-related purchases arrive today!

8. Kaitlyn's nursery is still not completed. I need time and money to finish it, but seem to be in short supply of both those things.
9. Gas prices are way too high.
10. Coordinating a trip to the grocery store is not easy anymore.

YAAAAAAAAY!
1. I was cleared to have sex today but don't know if I will be up for it yet.
2. I am loving maternity leave and can't imagine going to work.
3. I let DH do the majority night work and I don't feel too bad about it.
4. I often want to give up on bfing so I can have more control of my body and be able to leave the baby for longer than a couple hours.
5. I am more in love with DH after having DD.
6. I am more excited about Easter and dressing DD up than an atheist should be.
7. Sometimes I get lonely being on maternity leave.
8. I don't know what to get my DH for his birthday and it is bothering me.
9. I am really hoping my brother will find a job close to us so I can know him as an adult. I moved out when he was 14 and we haven't lived in the same city since.
10. I am very happy to have a good friend to talk to about mommyhood. It is one of the only things keeping me sane some days.
I hope so too...this month has been flying by so I hope it continues that trend.
We don't really like the area we are in and we have some family we woukd like to be closer to. We both grew up in this tiny town and it would be nice to get a fresh start. Basically we are just done here and there are some areas on the east coast that would fit our needs and wants better.

I am getting laproscopic surgery on my endometriosis. Everyone keeps telling me it is no big deal but I am really just stressed about taking care of my daughter while trying to recover. I am also scared of what they will find since I am having so much pain. They told me pain isn't an indicator of how bad it will be but I am still worried.

1. I am happy to be in week 8. It's crazy how fast this pregnancy is going already!
2. I've hardly done anything at work today because its so slow here, and because I'm feeling lazy since today is my Monday.
3. I'm getting really tired of this hungry/full stomach thing going on. I feel hungry, but the minute I eat something I feel full and nauseated...hopefully this goes away soon.
4. DH is already talking about when we should TTC #2...silly DH, lets get through this one first.
5. We're getting a new car this week! It's a Suburu Tribeca, one of the highest rated cars in safety.
6. I've been craving smoothies lately like crazy!
7. I also get irritated with going on GPM on my phone, but TB is worse. It's formatted way different on my phone...way hard to work with.
8. I'm freezing in my office right now because our heater barely works....
9. I'm worried and stressed about my grandpa. He's 87 and his health is declining quickly. It was only a month since I saw him last and he looks like a ghost. When I told him I was PG he was excited, but afterwards my grandma told me he started crying because he doesn't think he'll make it to meet my LO, and he's not one to cry or talk like that...it's heartbreaking...
10. I love my teachers for the two classes I am taking right now, history and social psychology. They are reasonable graders and the classes are very straight-forward.

3. Wiggy - I hope your surgery goes well.
4. I got my coworker a reuseable red solo cup for her birthday. It is the perfect present for her, because she tailgates a lot, but she hates trash/waste. She had never seen one before and was so excited to have one. I love getting the perfect gift for people.
5. We're doing dinner with ILs tonight. It was my suggestion, but I wish we weren't.
6. I have eaten almost an half a sleeve of thin mints
7. I almost told my sister the final names that H and I picked for a girl and a boy, because MIL didn't think that it was fair that she wouldn't find out before my family.
8. I have to miss the home opener for work. This makes me more upset than it probably should.
9. My work post-baby plans are starting to stress me out.
10. I can't wait until Friday. I am bursting not knowing what this baby is. I don't know how Team Green people do it.

Interesting! Most people IRL have said girl from the beginning. When H and I couldn't agree on a girl name, I was convinced that we would be having a girl. Now that we have a girl name, I'm not so sure.

Different surgeries but fwiw I had laproscopic gallbladder surgery 6 weeks pp. I was definitely sore and DH had to help with the bending and lifting but I didn't take anything but ibuprofen after surgery and I was nearly 100% within a few days. I hope your surgery goes just as smoothly!

After 25 months- medicated cycles and a failed IUI- The most planned surprise baby ever is on his way!
1. I've been in prodromal labor for 2 days now and I'm worried when (if) I go into actual labor I'm not going to know it's the real thing.
2. I'm excited to pick DD up from preschool so we can take a nap.
3. My MIL is pushing us to come over for dinner nights this weekend. Once for her birthday and the other is for "family dinner" with DH's entire extended family of like 35 people. I'm pretty sure she's up to something and I'm a little frightened.
4. I feel guilty for eating yogurtland for breakfast, but It's the only thing I've kept down in 24 hours.
5. If I feel ok after my 37 week appointment tomorrow DH is taking me to my favorite breakfast place. I'm excited and hope the contractions calm down so I can enjoy it.
6. I'm annoyed with little girls clothes these day. Everything is neon and horrid looking.
7. I'm hoping to make it through the weekend without having a baby. We have date night on Saturday and Sunday is MIL's birthday.
8. Okay so I'd be alright with having the baby ANY day but Sunday because MIL would throw a huge fit about us ruining her birthday.
9. It makes me smile when DD calls hula-hoops hoopa-loops and even more when she tries to use the hoopa-loop.
10. I have a feeling this baby will not have a name until we are discharged from the hospital.
1) We bought a new living room set this weekend. They delivered it today and within 4 hours of it getting here one of the legs broke off the coffee table. I am SO pissed and the store has a no refund after delivery policy so they have offered to replace the table NEXT month. I just want my money back!
2) LT's crib is in store ready for pick-up. I am so excited to create his room.
3) DH and I always said we wouldn't be going on birth control after we had the baby because of how much trouble conceiving him. Now we are just 4.5 months out from out probable start date for TTC #2 and I feel really guilty about having another.
4) DH FINALLY got promoted! We've been waiting since Oct of 2008!
5) I want to start insanity to lose 40lbs before we TTC #2 but I'm terrified that working out will cause a drop in my milk supply.
6) I have been sitting for 2 hours rocking LT with my foot so he will stay asleep and there are SO many chores to do!
7) I'm horrified that I have 40lbs to lose.
8) Someone just asked me to make a quilt for them- I'm scared and excited that someone thinks my work is worth it.
9) I'm addicted to watching the pretender on hulu.
10) I miss the board being exciting but I feel like I have nothing to add to the board.

Seriously?! Your MIL sounds like a gem. I would think she'd be excited, but I guess she doesn't want the baby to overshadow "her" day. Bleh.
Hoopa-loop = adorable!
1. My best friend invited me over for a girls night in this Friday, and I'm thinking of backing out, mainly because its all of her mom friends and I hate hearing people talk about their kids nonstop.
2. I'm surprised my nosy co-worker hasn't pried as to why I have to go to the Dr every week. I also don't want to have to make an announcement that I'm pg because I don't want the attention.
3. I really want to eat candy all day.
4. My weekly appointments with my RE are awesome, but I'm starting to get the medical bills, and those definitely aren't.
5. We interviewed a candidate for an open position in my department, and I think he would be great at the job, but I think my snatchface co-worker is going to fight to hire the other candidate because she would be more of a push-over and someone snatchface can give orders to.
6. I need to buy stock in Always thanks to the massive amount of pantyliners I've been using.
7. I've almost filled up an entire gatorade bottle with syringes from my lovenox injections, and I'm taking weird pride in that.
8. I get to meet The Bloggess next month, and I'm counting down the days.
9. 3D u/s pics are creepy.
10. I'm ready for baseball season to start, mainly because that means DH will want to go hang out with his friends more when he's home.

Yeah she's a piece of work for sure. She's told us since she found out I was due 2 weeks after her birthday if I have her on that day we have to celebrate on another day because she isn't sharing. DH is worried she will over react and make an a** of herself in the hospital if it does happen so we are just haoping for any other day.
1. I'm exhausted and more emotional than I've been in a long time and I don't like this side of myself. I'm normally very good at controlling my behaviors and not letting emotions rule but today I just have no control.
2. I'm so excited to have this baby but I'm terrified of what life will be like when she gets here. I don't want to be a wreck and mean to people but I already have this possessive feeling about sharing her and letting certain people hold her. I don't know how to change these feelings and I have similar feelings with certain people and my dog.
3. Finances are stressing me the h*ll out. On paper it looks like we make really good money but it never seems to last due to all of our student loans, car payments, mortgage, etc. and I'm nervous about being on maternity leave and making sure bills are covered. I realize that we should be fine as we have money set aside, a flex plan that will cover L & D costs, and an emergency fund in case anything were to go really wrong but I am still freaking out.
4. I feel like I may be slipping into a very slight depression and I'm relating it to stress and being extremely tired. I have little motivation to do anything and that's very out of character for me.
5. At times I dislike some of my clients. This goes back to some of my own political beliefs which are very unpopular in the helping profession.
6. I don't want to have an ugly child. Flame away.
7. At times I get so angry with my husband for not thinking things through the way I would. I realize this is irrational and that he doesn't think like I do all the time, it just would be helpful at times because then we could avoid some costly mistakes that I typically think through.
8. In anticipation of this snowstorm Thursday afternoon through Friday morning I have moved all of my clients to today and tomorrow so I didn't have to cancel. If this snowstorm doesn't hit or amount to anything I will be very upset because I hate looking stupid.
9. I seriously love my dog. I waited 18 years to be able to get a dog because my parents always said no and I ended up with the perfect dog. She can be naughty but she is always there when I need her and I just have this crazy bond with her.
10. I want chocolate cake.
