Prego Check In
I think Babe has been MIA the last few days (anyone else anticipating an announcement soon?!) and Kernel is already 32 weeks! I feel like time is speeding by and I?ve lost track of how many of us are knocked up. How?s everyone feeling these days? What are you craving or missing the most?

I just asked The Dude last night how it was possible that I'm 8 months pregnant? I'm giant now. The only thing I'm eating is pedialite ice pops because I have a wicked head cold for the past two days and the cold pops feel good. At Chops rec I also just took a sudafed.
We had a growth scan and heart echos last week and both babies look great. We finally walked out with a status quo report which was awesome. Hoping these babies hang on for another 6 weeks at the least and that all the sneezing and contracting of my abs I've been doing isn't annoying them! ha.

Yes...how did we get here? and yes..I'm not too happy about it but if it doesn't get done now, it never will. The cabinets and appliances should be here installed all by next weekend or so, so thats a plus!

My back hurts like a mofo. And I'm 17 weeks, awesome.
DH and I are going today for an elective ultrasound hopefully to confirm the private parts. And actually see the babies. All of our ultrasounds, although long bc they are scanning 2, have been so anticlimatic. I'm looking forward to seeing them on a big screen.
I'm starting to think I am beginning to feel something here and there and I'm so freaking excited I could pee myself (literally).
I am still confused that there are two babies living inside of me.
I'm wrapping up the first trimester and ready to move on to the second! We're still waiting to hear back on some genetic testing that has me a little worried but hopefully we'll have that sorted out sometime this week. I'm continuing to feel more like myself and not nearly as tired as I've been the last couple of months. I'm also pretty sure I'm starting to show a little bump!
I still haven't gone facebook public yet (because there are important people I really want to tell in person first) but one of my mother's friends has now congratulated me twice on there! Don't people know proper facebook etiquette when it comes to these things?!
34 weeks tomorrow and feeling pretty good but totally exhausted. We're finishing up our Bradley Method classes and just finished baby's room. I think we have all the basics we need for her.
Last night I made the mistake of watching natural births on Youtube. I told my husband I didn't think I could do it. His response, "You're gonna have to."

I cannot believe your strength to handle a kitchen renovation during a pregnancy with twins!. Our kitchen renovation was nearly 7 years ago and I still cringe at the amount of stress it caused (and we hired a contractor!). More power to you, girl! The dude should bring a case of your favorite beers to the hospital!
NOV..no joke I ask myself that daily. I try to remember when my belly wasn't so big at like..20 weeks and I can't even remember that time.
Erbur...it hasn't been easy the past two weeks. When we still had a stove and stuff I was fine but now I'm getting very antsy. This is why I need a cleaning lady because the dust is making me want to pretty much strangle someone. I think thats making me more mad/stressed than the fact that we have no way to cook anything. Thats why I'm praying H&F hold on for 6 more weeks so we can come home to a normal house.

I may not have a baby, but I have a slight case of baby fever and love looking at all things related to babies.
How about a pic of my gut? Not sure how much is bloating/belly fat but I can't suck-it-in anymore!

I'm getting close. For example, I don't think you can tell but my pants are totally unbuttoned in that picture. I can still button them but the second I get home, they get unbuttoned. Things are getting tight and uncomfortable! I think most of my shirts will continue to fit for a few more months but I need to invest in an extender or belly band for my pants or just go out and purchase some maternity pants.
Kernal, letranger and RWP - I cannot believe you guys are so close!! This is freaking me out, it is all going so fast!
I am feeling really great, I have been so lucky. I crave hoagies and some sweet stuff like Nerds and sour patch kids
I am 18 weeks tomorrow and feel like just within the past week I exploded. I just put on my first maternity top today.

In the weird stage between regular pants and maternity pants, I had great success with using a hair tie looped through the button hole and over the button. Gave me enough breathing room to wear my regular pants but kept them from falling down.
