Puppy Names!
So H and I are getting a puppy, and we need help naming her! She is a black English Lab 
My favorite name is Violet, and H likes Bella.
I am hoping he will come around to Violet, but I would love to have some other names on a list to present to him!
I want it to be a "human name" and it has to be 2 syllables or less - she will be a hunting dog as well, so the name needs to be easy to yell - and not Princessy- haha!

What about Sophie?
I'm not sure what she is going to think.. we are going to keep puppy in a separate room for a couple days, and let them get used to each others scent, and slowly start letting them see each other.
This puppy has been around cats so hopefully that will help with them meeting..

They say that names ending in y, a or I are easier for dogs to recognize when being called.
Try saying the names like you're calling the dog and see if its easy to say and nice and clear.

Yay new puppy!!
I would suggest spending some time with your pup before you name her. When we adopted our pup we were pretty sure we were going to name him Troy, then one day H suggested we name him Boomer, which was never on our list and it's perfect!
My suggestions: Abby, Casey, Kassie, Libby, Lola, Millie, Morgan, Moxie, Pepper, Roxy, Sadie, Scout, Winnie, Stella (imagine yelling that in the woods!), and Dakota (even though it's 3 syllables)
Yay! Can't wait to see pics of your new furbaby!

They also say to avoid giving your dog a name that sounds like a command... Sid sounds like sit, Hound sounds like down, etc.
I love both those names! So excited your getting a puppy!
