This and I would use that time to eat as well. Poor thing sometimes would have crumbs fall on her but when you nurse a lot in the beginning, you have to multi-task.

That's true. I can't count the things I have dropped on her while eating.
I was glued to my iPad. I set up a tv table in the nursery and watches tv on amazon prime. I took a really long time in the beginning. And I ate. Especially in the middle if the night. Dh would bring me snacks.
