Newborn/family pic recs

one more question- i know this is asked on here all the time but the search feature never works on here for me. can anyone recommend some reasonably priced photographers that either meet you somewhere outdoors or come to your home for newborn/family pics? i had someone i used for baby #1 who i used 3 years ago but her prices are over double what they used to be and i'm just not willing to spend that much.

Ginger owns frames of infinity. She has a program called little loves that is $99 for a session at newborn, 3 mos, 6 mos, 9 mos, 12 mos and includes a free 8x10 with each of those sessions. It doesn't include a disk but I decided the small cost was worth it and still made buying a disk at newborn and 12 mos (our plan) still worth it. If you sign up for her newsletter and become a fb fan she runs a lot of promo's. I got $100 off our nb disk. Got a free digital file calendar with his nb pictures. She recently did a BOGO with her $125 gift cards so I bought one and plan to use it to buy the disk for his 12 mos pictures. We just ordered his 3 mos pictures-I got the free 8x10 and 3 5x7's and it came to $50ish. It's all reasonable to me to have his first year caught. She will come to you, do an outdoor location, etc. we aren't local so we travel in and choose somebody's home to shoot at. Last time she had leased a friends studio. I love ginger!

Can't recommend Mary Beth enough! She did my newborn session (outdoors), came to the hospital for birth photos and came to our house for newborn. Total for all 3 sessions plus a CD with all images was around $650. http://m.facebook.com/?_rdr#!/MaryBethMillerPhotography?__user=1259679974

Mary Beth was actually who we used for newborn pics 3 years ago. she was fantastic. i think we paid like $200. her current prices are just too much for us. i will look into Tiffany. thanks!

Did you email Mary Beth? Her prices are definitely more on the website. Her session was $100 and disc was like $100-150 but her work is fabulous! We had more than 100++ individual images plus all the edits. We had multiple family, sibling poses, indoors, outside, etc...

I think for repeat customers, she has kept the prices the same. I was expecting $1,000 plus given her website prices (i didnt ask before as i told DH we were just going to write the check) but it was just $100 for each sessions and $100-150 for the disc and the birth session was just $100 total. I definitely would ask because I was so happy! She also charged the $250 total for a friend of mine who had hers done this fall too
