  • I DVR everything, so I never watch commercials...

  • I do my best not to watch commercials too Mana.

I did see one this morning that really annoyed me.  It was a Chico's commercial for there "slimming pants".  It had this stick figure model walking around while they talk about how the pants make you look skinnier.  ::eye roll::

  • I can't picture any commercials, I barely watch them.  Thank goodness for DVR and when we watch live TV, a husband who has to flip between 3 shows.

As for the slimming pants, they supposedly do work, despite the size 0 modeling them on the commercial.  I was going to buy them for my bachelorette party, but when I went to try them on, they're like $100 and I wasn't willing to spend that on jeans, so I didn't bother trying them on.

  • I DVR most shows too so I skip the commercials, but I really hate the Special K and the Special K Diet commercials! The Special K Diet is actually a starvation diet (the number of calories the plan recommends is FAR below the number of calories recommended for healthy weight loss and is considered to be in the "starvation range". There's articles about this online.). It's clever marketing to get people to buy all of the Special K products, but in reality it's a terrible way to lose weight.
