So, I know the last discussion, etc didn't work out too great. But I really want to keep this going. Does everyone feel like a month is enough time to read the book? I'm now back on task with my reading so it should be enough time for me.
Do we want to use the goodreads group we had as well to maybe try and see if we can some of the old members involved again?
What do you guys want to read next?
Re: BBC - Next Book
I'm fine with whatever. I'm usually a quick reader I was just a little slow because I'm in a super busy period with work right now. But that ends Saturday.
I think maybe part of the problem last time was that we picked a book in a genre that may not appeal to everyone? I know a lot of folks like young adult fiction. Maybe we should try something like that.
A couple of ideas:
Just One Day by Gayle Forman
The Art of Racing in the Rain (actually I don't know if thats YA or not)
The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight
Easy by Tammara Webber
I'm open to pretty much anything. I also think we may have been doing a little better when we were doing books based on movies. If we wanted to go that route again I'm open to that. I've been wanting to read Silver Linings Playbook. But again, I'm really open to anything.
I'm also good with just about anything. I'm not really picky about a genre. I haven't heard of any of those books you listed, but I'm definitely willing to try one.
Sticking to books based on movies might get more people interested. :P I was considering reading SLP.
