If you don't mind sharing, how much do you pay for car insurance? We got a quote from our current company and we think it is quite high. If you have similar prices I won't feel so bad.
Re: Car insurance
Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.
I used to work in the insurance area. While it does differ between states, it will also differ based on how populated an area you live in as well as what that accident rate is in your area. Even if you don't have any accidents on file, if the area you live in has a high rate of accidents you are going to be paying more overall than if you lived somewhere safer.
Ours recently changed due to our new vehicle but I want to say it's about $180 a month. That's for full coverage on three vehicles. Once we sell DH's truck it'll be more like $120-140 a month. No accidents on file or speeding tickets for either of us.
$620 every six months. We have $500.00 deductible. We have a 2010 Honda Civic and a 2012 Toyota Corrola. We use Progressive.
We were using Geico but we changed since buying the house. Now we are using the insurance Costco has. My parents told me how much cheaper it was and we save almost $1800 per year.
