Warm!!!
J has a cute pea coat but I don't know when I would put it on him. He can't wear it in the car seat, obviously. He isn't at an age when he is being taken in/out of the car seat. We don't go for walks because I'm not walking outside in the cold. So...when? We even have two nice warm baby buntings that my sister said she used for walks. I guess people like to take walks in the cold. I do not. I do not like cold!

Oh man, that's a bummer! Baby pea coats are so cute! I hadn't thought of the car seat thing, but it's 6-12 months, so I'm sure it will get some kind of use over the winter.
yeah! even in a few months i can't see needing a coat for him because he won't be changing car seats for quite some time (12+ months). i suppose if we did something like...i dunno, go to church? where i might take him out of his car seat and need to put a coat on him, that might be an opportunity. but otherwise, i can't figure out when people are putting coats on their babies and why. if they're doing it and putting them in the car seats i want to punch a lot of things. otherwise, i'd like to know because i'm honestly curious.
I imagine we'll spend some time outside out of a car seat next winter, so, that's when I'll be using it.
Ughh My mother probably thinks I'm a horrible mom because she is always asking me why Cora isn't wearing a coat. Also, we dress her in sweatshirts almost every day for daycare, and they always take it off as if it is a jacket. I didn't realize until I put a short sleeve onsie under a button up sweater, and they told me they had to put it back on her because it was chilly. Well, yeah, she is supposed to wear that all day.

i would be annoyed too. It's an outfit! I just never have him out of his car seat and outside at the same time, so I never need the really cute cost that hangs in his closet. Why would I take him out of his seat outside? That's what stumps me. Pictures? It really must be to go for a walk. And I still would rather have him in his seat and with the car seat cover over it and a blanket on him to keep him warm. But again I don't take him for walks because its cooooollldddd. And he's so little that to put a coat on him after taking him out of the seat would be quite a maneuver, which is why I put hoodies on him. I guess coats aren't for us! When he's older I will keep it in the car with some blankets.
