H bought us some scratch-off tickets today, and between the two of us, we won $30 (his mom won $1 on her ticket, too)! So, I think we're going to cash our winnings in and take a little of our tax refund money and do some Spring clothes shopping! I'm so excited! It feels like I haven't been able to buy anything for me in such a long time and I'm looking forward to sprucing up my wardrobe!
Question: Do you or your H enjoy shopping more? Are either of you stress shoppers/do you partake in "retail therapy"?
For us, we both enjoy shopping for others a lot (we go a little crazy around Christmas and birthdays), but when it comes to shopping for ourselves, our excitement kinda fizzles out. I like to go out shopping when I'm stressed and try to find something nice for myself, but I hate spending a bunch of money, so I usually walk away without anything. I get really perked up, though, when I can get something for a steal! H just doesn't really like spending money on himself, unless it's for a hat, haha!
Re: Retail therapy
H hates shopping, so I do 99% of the Christmas shopping WHICH I LOVE! But the bolded above is sooo me about buying myself something. When it comes to clothes, I only buy things to replace... like when I wear my jeans so much they rip, or I start thinking about duck taping my flats. Usually H gives me a deadline to get a new pair before he throws whatever is needs replaced away.
