Just wanted to let you know that I was temping and using the Fertility Friend app when we got our BFP with this baby bean. So I'd suggest trying that before investing in anything! Every morning I woke up, checked my temp with a standard old thermometer, added it to the app, and went on with my day. I noticed that I was ovulating waaaaay late in my cycle, like day 20! We nailed it on the 3rd month and now we are *hopefully* going to have a little one in Dec!

((hope it's okay that I jump in here?))
Yup, same time each day. And before you do anything, so try not to talk or move much. It's best after 3-4 hours of uninterrupted sleep, but I'm a pretty restless sleeper, so as long as I don't get up and try to relax and get back to sleep, it doesn't affect my temps too much. And I agree with using fertility friend! It's free as long as you don't want the VIP version.

Thanks! I'm an extremely sound sleeper, so I don't think that'll be an issue. Past couple of days, I haven't even heard DH get up! But I will wake up to the dog if he's whining next to the bed. Go figure! I have to go get a thermometer. Is it sad that we don't even have a thermometer in our house?? Yeah, my mom thinks so! Oh well!
My next cycle is supposed to start in 13ish days (well hopefully it doesn't start!), so I'll start then. I do go to my doctor on Monday for my yearly :-(, so I'll mention something to her as well, As well as let her know I plan to start temping.

You can get just a regular thermometer, but it would be better to get a basal thermometor. It'll be in the family planning section. It measures to the hundreth, vs a regular one that averages to the tenth. Some people notice the shifts fine with the regular one, but I tend to have a slow rise after O, and like the better accuracy.

Of course it is!!! I started writing that message in the original post she wrote to you, but I didn't think that would be very sympathetic or appropriate of me to talk about it in a personal message to you when I've been following your struggles
I'm one of your HUGE supporters! I hope you know that
Thank you
